US Congress holds a new hearing regarding Bitkov case!

Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the US Congress held a hearing on 9th of June 2021 titled: “Judicial Independence in Central America” where the abuses committed against the Bitkovs. Irina Bitkova testified in front of the Congressman Jim McGovern and Congressman Chris Smith as well as others.

The conclusion of the hearing was that the Russian involvement in the Bitkovs case in Guatemala must be further investigated, that the Bitkov family must be set free immediately and the corrupt officials who fabricated the case against the family must be investigated.

This is a great progress and we would like to thank everyone who signed the petition, it helped, it was sent to the US Congress and was received very positively. The petition is now officially published by the US Congress. Please share these great news and ask your friends to join the crusade to free the Bitkov family who has suffered and is still suffering unthinkable abuses, torture and defamation.
